When you are up in the morning, what’s your first feeling? Is it to empty or fill up? Is it thirst or hunger? Is it desire or need? Do you feel healthy and energized or sick and tired?
The Molecule of Life
Each of us comprises over 30 trillion cells and nearly 40 trillion bacteria. Yes, we are more bacteria than humans. These cells of life need a constant supply of new raw materials to function correctly, such as the essential minerals and vitamins: minerals to facilitate intracellular communication, and vitamins “vita,” meaning life, and “amine,” refers to a substance “essential for life,” forming the structure of every cell.
Every cell has a phospholipid membrane, which acts as a barrier to the passage of living molecules and electrically charged ions into and out of the cell. These phospholipids are natural, integral parts of cells composed of phosphate and fatty acids, such as the Omega 3, 6, and 9 molecules we hear about today, which are vitally important. They are structural components of cell surface membranes and the membranes within the cells because they help maintain their strength, flexibility, and integrity.
These membranes have three primary functions: (1) they keep toxic substances out of the cell; (2) they contain receptors and channels that allow specific molecules, such as ions, nutrients, wastes, and metabolic products, that mediate cellular and extracellular activities to pass between organelles and between the cell and the outside environment; and (3) they separate vital but incompatible metabolic processes conducted within organelles.
Some refer to phospholipids as the “molecule of life,” Without them, we would suffer critical cellular dysfunction and enormous health consequences.
If optimal health and vitality are desired, we must become the ultimate supplier of cellular necessity.
Quality instead of Quantity
While we think we may be intelligent in what we choose to consume, we can’t ever trick the wisdom and intelligence of the cell membrane. These gatekeepers always look for premium nutrients passing by in the bloodstream. The higher the quality, the more vitality we have as a whole. We essentially are what we consume, or more so, we are what the gatekeepers choose to let in.
Believe it or not, our bodies function well on less than more. Think of life thousands of years ago; the conveniences of today did not exist. There were no refrigerators hanging from trees, grocery stores filled with packaged dead stuff, and pharmacies blocking our sunset views.
Our cells prefer to pass on low-quality nutrients and wait for high-quality ones. However, the necessity of time can’t go on forever. If those premium nutrients don’t eventually pass, the cells must use what’s available. Long-term substandard nutrients lead to deficiencies, causing cells to grow old or become damaged and die and abnormal or damaged cells to grow and multiply when they shouldn’t.
Health is Wealth
You are God’s gift to you; what you become is your gift to God.
Every moment we breathe in and out, we are kept alive, awake to experience the magic of life. Our most critical nutrient is oxygen, and our second most important is water. Our health depends on these two essential nutrients, so all we consume must contain both in living form.
Nothing (“no-thing”) is more important to our wealth than the quality of nutrients that pass our lips. When you have your health, you have all the wealth; when you are dead, you have nothing.
Not all Nutrients are Equal
All life on this planet, every species that has ever existed, has naturally consumed fresh, raw, living foods. Humans and those we have removed from nature are the only creatures that have diverted from this path, and the results clearly show how mistaken we are. There are no hospitals, pharmacies, doctors, etc., for wild creatures living in nature.
Do animals in the wild have access to some particular special nutrients? No, not really. By nature, nutrients are fragile molecules that allow easy absorption through the digestive systems of the creatures that consume them.
The key to this process is that every nutrient must be bioactive, have life itself, and contain the H.O.P.E: Hormones, Oxygen, Phytochemicals, and Enzymes held inside a liquid structure cell membrane. This is what the gatekeepers are looking for. Until then, the door remains locked, and we suffer.
Because all nutrients are fragile, the further downstream they travel before being consumed, the less valuable they become. So it’s vitally important to consume them as far upstream as possible.
SuperFoods with Life – As Nature Intended
We believe all foods should be grown and consumed as closely as nature intended with no destructive human processes. Our mission has been to figure out how to accomplish this with what we believe is the best source of the highest quality living nutrients on the planet — the pinnacle of nutrition, the ones God created first, 3.5 Billion years ago, known as the Foundation of Life — Raw Living Spirulina.
Spirulina is a blue-green alga that became famous after NASA successfully used it as a dietary supplement for astronauts on space missions. It can modulate immune functions and exhibit anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting the release of histamine by mast cells. Multiple studies have investigated Spirulina’s efficacy and potential clinical applications in treating several diseases, suggesting that this alga may improve several symptoms and have anticancer, antiviral, and antiallergic effects. That’s the good news.
The Unfortunate Option
You may have noticed that most Spirulina on the market is offered only in powder or tablet form. For Spirulina (an actual living alga) to have any long-term shelf marketability, the enzymes and life of the cells must be destroyed — the HOPE killed.
After harvest in China (where 90% of all commercial Spirulina is grown), the Spirulina is pumped into significantly high (over 375 F) spray-drying machines (incinerators), which explode the cells. Unfortunately, these dead products (powder and pills) are the mineral ash remains of the once beautiful living cell with minimal health-supporting benefits.
We decided to fix that, so we set out to change our lives and the thousands of lives we have touched with our fresh “Green Gold” — Raw Living Spirulina!
The Heavy Challenges
We first needed to determine how best to grow Spirulina using 100% plant-based food (most Spirulina is not grown Vegan). Secondly, we needed to learn how to strengthen the phospholipid cell membrane to maintain living wholeness and stability for at least two weeks after harvest. This was accomplished by growing a unique and rare strain of Spirulina called Arthospira Maxima X1, which we obtained through NASA.
It was then essential to figure out how to harvest this new Spirulina without damaging the cells during the multiple stages. Each Spirulina cell is like a tiny, fragile living water balloon consisting of green (chlorophyll), 575% more than wheatgrass juice, and blue (phycocyanin), the planet’s most researched and potent phytonutrient.
Finally, we needed to master the logistical process so that Raw Living Spirulina maintains its wholeness and nutrient life force on its journey to the consumer’s door.
The Critical Challenge: Keep the Micronutrients Alive
The magic of Raw Living Spirulina is the rainbow of micro-phytonutrients—amino Acids, Antioxidants, Omega fatty Acids, Enzymes, Vitamins, and Minerals—that will significantly benefit our health, but only when the cells have maintained the internal integrity of HOPE.
Spirulina grows best in tropical climates in 93-95 F-degree water, under natural sunshine, so we chose a beautiful beyond organic 10-acre south Florida farm with a 650’ aquifer because the water quality is paramount, as is the quality of the light — the sun.
We harvest by hand on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. This time-consuming 10-hour daily process under the Florida sun in the summer heat is best only for those chosen few. God Bless and Thank You to our crew.
After the final dewatering harvest cycle, the freshly harvested Spirulina is placed in large refrigerators. Because the cells are alive, they need to be cooled to slow their metabolic activity, basically putting them to sleep. This occurs at temperatures below 50 degrees but above 32. Freezing will completely stop the life force (suspended animation state).
The following day, the Spirulina is carefully packed into glass jars and loaded into our custom compostable and recyclable cooler boxes with ice bricks designed to keep the Spirulina below the 60-degree threshold during transit, ready for FedEx Express 4:30 pickup. Most shipments will be delivered to the customer’s door within 48 hours.
Inside the box is an instructional card detailing what to do and what not to do. Please place the jar(s) in the refrigerator and keep them cold immediately. Consume all by the BEST BY date on the lid or freeze early. Time is of the essence. Raw Living Spirulina should be kept between 38 and 45 degrees F for optimal short-term storage.
Note: Although freezing retains most (90%) of the nutritional value (within three months), it significantly reduces the therapeutic value and is not recommended for those fighting severe health challenges.
If the choice is to freeze Raw Living Spirulina, it should be in single-serve portion ice cube trays with lids that are easy to remove. We recommend soft silicone trays and freeze immediately upon receiving them.
In conclusion, Raw Living Spirulina is fresh and alive and needs to be refrigerated because, as you learned above, nutrients are sensitive to heat, pressure, and time. Raw Living Spirulina is proud to be the first in the USA to offer fresh Living Spirulina at the highest quality using the most natural growing and harvesting methods.
Ideally, this will become the market standard. Until then, you must know the difference between the powdered Spirulina and Raw Living Spirulina so that we can all continue to thrive on our home planet.
