Warning – These are extremely addictive!
Ingredients:
2 cups of walnuts
6 pitted dates
2 tablespoons of our Raw Living Spirulina paste
1 ripe banana
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 vanilla bean
a pinch of salt
1/4 cup of shredded coconut
Instructions:
Combine the walnuts, dates, and banana in a food processor or high-speed blender. Pulse gently until broken down. Add the lemon zest, vanilla and salt, and pulse again until the mixture has a sticky texture.
Place the mixture in a large bowl. Carefully add Raw Living Spirulina – gently mix in with hands. Form into small balls with your fingers. (will make 12-20 balls depending on the size). Add shredded coconut to a bowl and roll each ball around until evenly covered.
Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days – serve as fresh as possible.
